Back to the Beach | Orange Beach, AL Photographer

I was ecstatic when this sweet family asked if I'd come back to the beach to do a family session for them.  They'll be moving across the country soon but wanted to have portraits made before they left so they could always remember the precious time they spent here.  I was happy to oblige :)  It was beautiful evening that perfectly matched this beautiful family!

 Aren't they just precious! 

I just love photographing little girls at this age!  They know how and usually love to pose for the camera and aren't a bit self-conscious.  Too bad we can't all stay that way!

And then there's this little guy, or should I say big guy as he is two years younger than his sister but just about as tall as she is!  Little boys are usually my hardest subjects.  Its sometimes a challenge to get them to show a genuine smile but when you do they're priceless!  I got this sweet boy to crack when I started talking about how he must be the tooth fairy's favorite customer lately ;)

I Heart Faces - A Touch of Whimsy

When I saw the challenge this week at I Heart Faces I was totally giddy!  So much of childhood is whimsical and I think birthdays mark some of the most magical moments in those precious lives.  I took this picture of my son just before he turned two this winter.  We've been so blessed having him apart of our family for the last 2 years and look forward to many more!

These two little cuties helped me break in a new location and a couple new props during their session.  Despite the fact that it looked like it might rain us out at any minute I had a really fun time with these two.

I love the face he's making!  Can't you just hear the boat's "motor" ;)

Beach Mini Session {Take 3} | Gulf Shores, AL Children Photographer

I had such a great time with these little ladies and their sweet momma and daddy during the last session of the evening!

I first met this sweet family when this little lady was just a baby!

And well before this little brown eyed beauty was even thought about!

Those bouncy curls and sweet faces are just about too much cuteness to taken in at one time :)
