This little sweetie came to see me over the weekend and boy was she fun!  It took her a little while to fall asleep but even wide awake she was as happy as can be.

She did eventually fall asleep so we could get some of those precious sleepy pictures. 

She slept so well I was even able to use my newest (and favorite) prop!

Whether asleep or awake, this little one can come see me anytime!

I Heart Faces | Friendship

This weeks challenge at I Heart Faces is Friendship and when I saw it posted I knew instantly which picture I wanted to enter.  This picture is about a year old but its one of my all time favorites of my two guys.  They are such good pals and its been such a treat to see their friendship and love for one another grow over the last 2 and a half years.  Of course, like any brothers they have their moments of aggravation with one another but for the most part they are the best of buds!  I pray over time they will come to fully understand just how important a friendship like theirs truly is!

Secret Garden | Mobile, AL Children Photographer

This past week we took a much needed visit home to see our family and while we were there I was able to get one of nieces in front of my camera!  Isn't she a doll! 

We did the session in Poppy and Grammy's (or Gimme as "S" calls her :)) garden and I believe I could do every session on their property and never tire of it.  It is a photographers haven, so peaceful and abounding in beauty!

It matched this little beauty perfectly!

Beach Baby! | Orange Beach, AL Photographer

I was so excited when the mama of this sweet baby called and said they were going to be vacationing in Gulf Shores for the 4th and wondered if I could take some pictures of them while they were here.  Excited because 1. her mama sounded like one of the sweetest people I've ever spoken with over the phone and 2. it gave me a great reason to go back to the beach!  Her voice definitely didn't disappoint!  They were one of the sweetest, most easy going families I've ever had the pleasure of photographing!  I just LOVE my job :)

Especially this sweetie pie!  I admit I was a bit worried when her mama said she was only 18 months old because sometimes this age can be rather tricky to photograph.  Its a pretty "busy" age (especially too busy to sit still and look at the camera) but all it took to get this little girlie grinning was a sing-along and a sea shell!

Oh, those big blue eyes are just about too much to handle!

I think its safe to say mom and dad are a bit smitten with her :)

Red, White & Blue | I Heart Faces Photo Challenge

Right after I took this picture of a good friends little girl I just knew I'd use it for the I Heart Faces Red, White and Blue challenge!  I love the way she's holding up her little finger!  It almost looks like she's trying to say "USA is #1!"

Back to the Beach | Orange Beach, AL Photographer

I was ecstatic when this sweet family asked if I'd come back to the beach to do a family session for them.  They'll be moving across the country soon but wanted to have portraits made before they left so they could always remember the precious time they spent here.  I was happy to oblige :)  It was beautiful evening that perfectly matched this beautiful family!

 Aren't they just precious! 

I just love photographing little girls at this age!  They know how and usually love to pose for the camera and aren't a bit self-conscious.  Too bad we can't all stay that way!

And then there's this little guy, or should I say big guy as he is two years younger than his sister but just about as tall as she is!  Little boys are usually my hardest subjects.  Its sometimes a challenge to get them to show a genuine smile but when you do they're priceless!  I got this sweet boy to crack when I started talking about how he must be the tooth fairy's favorite customer lately ;)
