A Couple Firsts | Mobile, AL Newborn Photographer

I love how everyone of my sessions has its own little moments that make it so special to me and this sweet boy surely didn't disappoint in that department!  First off he was the first little Auburn Fan Newbie I've ever photographed and for that he gets a BIG WAR EAGLE!!!  I just love the little AU hat his sweet mommy brought to the session!

Next, while I've been in the presence of little ones loosing their umbilical cords before being I have two little boys of my own, I've never had a clients little one loose it during a session :)

While the title to this post is pretty fitting for most of my sessions its not quite as common place in a newborn session, that is until this little guy came to visit me this weekend.  He was full of smiles!  There's not much better than a beautiful, smiling baby boy!

I knew when I did this couple's maternity session in December, as good looking as they are, their baby boy was going to be gorgeous, but I don't think I was prepared for quite this gorgeous! 

A complete and utter doll baby!  And don't even get me started on that red hair!  The adorableness was nearly too much to handle!

Congratulations you two!  Y'all made a keeper for sure!

I do believe this little guys mommy has to be one of the most patient (and not to mention sweet) people on the planet!  I've had a very persistent cough the last couple of weeks and kept having to call the new mommy to tell her we'll have to wait a couple more days to see what was going to happen with this cold.  She was so great about the whole thing (I seriously have some of the greatest clients around)!  At last the cough subsided and I was able to get this little guy in front of my camera!  I must say he was definitely worth the wait!

I'm certain that's what the mommy and daddy of this sweet little guy and gal are thinking these days!

They were an absolute dream to photograph!  We finished the session in record time and the only peep we heard out of either of them was when they were getting dressed to go home :)

Newest Bama Fan | Mobile, AL Newborn and Family Photographer

Anyone who knows me well knows that I practically bleed orange and blue (WAR EAGLE!) but when the mommy of this precious baby asked if we could do an Alabama themed set-up I put all the rivalries aside and said ABSOLUTELY!  And really how could you say no to those big beautiful blue eyes!

 Those bama fans sure are adding a precious little guy to their cheering section :)

This trio grouping just make my heart sing!  I adore the pride and love that pours out of new parents when they gaze at their baby!

Thank you so much for letting me capture the first moments of your newest love!  Bama fan or not he is beyond precious!

This little sweetie came to see me over the weekend and boy was she fun!  It took her a little while to fall asleep but even wide awake she was as happy as can be.

She did eventually fall asleep so we could get some of those precious sleepy pictures. 

She slept so well I was even able to use my newest (and favorite) prop!

Whether asleep or awake, this little one can come see me anytime!

This little lady was a DREAM to photograph!  She would grunt a little when I would reposition her but other than that she just slept and slept.  Being that she's the youngest of three, all of which are under three, probably accounted for her go-with-the-flow attitude ;)  To say her momma is busy is a bit of an understatement but in addition to all the child rearing she's doing she found some time to make a few of the precious hats, wraps and woven bowls I used during Emily's session!  I just love a talented mommy!  Thanks again Amber for letting me capture your newest addition and for all the BEAUTIFUL props!

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a dear friends first baby boy last week!

 And let me tell you this is one lucky little boy!  Not only does he have his sweet mommy to take care of him but he also has two precious sister mommies ;) 

I think this big sister is a bit smitten with little brother!
